Wordpress Custom Fields
Introduction
- WordPress allows authors to assign custom fields to a post. This extra information is known as metadata.
- With extra coding, you can use the metadata for complex actions.
- Metadata is handled with key/value pairs.
- key: The name of the metadata element.
- ValueL: Information that will appear in the metadata list on each individual post that the information associated with.
Usage
- After you have written your post, scroll down yo the area Custom Fields.
- Add new custom field and assign a value to it.
- You only need to create a new key once.
