Preprocessor Directives

#include <iostream>

The #include facility is a part of the C++ preprocessor. This tells the compiler that we want to use the iostream library. The name inside angle brackets is a header.

Headers for the standard library are enclosed in angle brackets (< >). Nonstandard headers are enclosed in double quotes (" ").
